New Principals Conference Scheduled for July 29-30, 2009 in Columbia
New
administrators are invited to attend this professional development
workshop for principals and assistant principals co-sponsored by
the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals and the
Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.
This two-day workshop, based on the ISLLC Standards, will address a
variety of issues pertinent to new principals and assistant
principals with the goal of helping them launch their
administrative careers on a positive note. Experienced
administrators and representatives from DESE will serve as
facilitators. Topics will include:

- Using Data to Create and Sustain Meaningful Change

- The Mentoring Process
- The Principal’s Role in Special Education
