New Principals Conference Scheduled for July 29, 2010 in Jefferson City
New administrators are invited to attend a professional development workshop for elementary, middle school and high school principals and assistant principals co-sponsored by the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals and the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.
This workshop, based on the ISLLC Standards, will address a variety of issues pertinent to new principals and assistant principals with the goal of helping them launch their administrative careers on a positive note. Experienced administrators and association leaders will serve as facilitators. Topics will include:
- Performance Based Teacher Evaluation
- PLC: The Power of Positive Relationships
- Networking for Success
- Legal Issues
- Breakout Sessions for Elementary and Secondary
