Session #2 – Decisions, Decisions, Decisions! Building Basic Skills and Awareness in Administrative Decision-Making.

The fact that you make hundreds of decisions a day can potentially result in either amazing or disastrous perceptions regarding you as a leader. In this session you will discover how the hidden powers of communication and decision making can impact your leadership. From whom you involve to lasting decisions, you must become aware of how the way you make decisions impacts others.
In this session you will explore the dual nature of decision-making and when and how to involve others in decision-making.

Meetings are an effective way to bring people together to increase communication, effectiveness, collaboration, and achieve results. Leadership is an investment in people. Putting effort into planning and running each of your meetings is one way to show value and respect for your stakeholders and their time.
Your first meetings as a leader are key to a great start. During this session, participants will investigate components of effective meetings and will generate ideas for planning your first meetings as a building leader.
Session #4 – How to Effectively Survive and Navigate Leadership Transitions

Transition in leadership can be an exciting time of new possibilities and opportunities. This session will offer essential principles of transition to help you navigate this potential minefield.
